Rise of the Pumpkin isn’t the only game mentioned today, as thanks to a heads up by Saberman and DamienD we’ve come across an Amiga game called Super Pumpkin Bros, which was first announced way back in 2007 and released around about that time. Now this game sadly is just a preview and was never finished, but thanks to Damien it’s been revisited and has since been uploaded as an ADF so Gotek owners can have a go themselves.
According to the description of the game from 2007, this is an early preview of a platform arcade game for the Amiga 1200 whereby there is only one level, and being infinite you can never actually finish it. Which apparently was to show off what the gameplay might be like, if the developer had actually finished the game all those years ago.
