Crash Annual 2019 – Issue 100 – Is aiming for a Kickstarter success!

From Indie Retro News

You’ve probably heard the name many times ‘ Chris Wilkins ‘ , a highly respected retro head who has launched countless retro gaming books such as The History of Ocean Software, The Story of the Commodore 64 in Pixels, The Story of the Oliver Twins and The Story of the ZX Spectrum in Pixels. But now after many Kickstarter successes, he has launched possibly the greatest of them all and the big 100 after the previous Crash 2018 Annual. It’s the ‘ Crash Annual 2019 – Issue 100 ‘ Kickstarter campaign; a campaign for an Annual full of game reviews, techy bits and even an Adventure trail!

Crash was an incredible gaming packed magazine dedicated to the ZX Spectrum, which was first launched in 1983 by Roger Kean, Oliver Frey and Franco Frey as a mail order software catalogue and then launched as a proper magazine in February 1984, published by Newsfield Publications Ltd and then by Europress. This new Kickstarter is once again set to take the speccy world by storm, as Crash is back yet again as its very own annual as the 100th issue release since the final official issue number 98 was actually last sold in 1992.

As for this upcoming Annual after the incredible feedback of the previous one, it will be a hardback filled with 120 pages of awesomeness and colour throughout. What’s more Roger Kean and Oliver Frey will yet again be taking part, with Roger taking the helm as the editor and Oli in charge of the graphical style and cover to make it even more eye popping, which is the style typical of Oli! As for other contributors to the campaign they include Lloyd Mangram (the letter guy), Nick Roberts (Playing tips), Stuart Williams’s (Adventure Trail) and even Simon Goodwin(Tech section).

So yes this is one Kickstarter you’ll probably not want to miss, so give it a backing and complete the 100 issues of crash 🙂
